Show Those Pearly Whites

The boys and I had a dentist appointment yesterday and since it was Bradley's first one, I thought pictures were in order! They ganged up on me and voted that I go first. So they sat and played with the alligator game and asked our hygienist Christy all kinds of questions about what her tools did and what she was doing to me. Christy has two boys almost the same ages as ours, and their personalities are very similar, so I always enjoy talking with her and sharing stories. She is so good with them. It was soon Trevor's turn.

Trevor loves laying in the dentist chair, and kicks his shoes off and gets comfy as if he is in a recliner relaxing. I'm so glad the dentist is a happy place for him and hope he can keep up the good work brushing so that he won't ever experience the not so good things that can happen in a dentist chair.

Trevor's attitude certainly helped relieve any fears Bradley had, but I think he was a little bit nervous when it came his turn. He looked so little sitting in that big chair.

He loved helping Christy squirt the water in his mouth, and almost drowned himself at one point. 

and of course he had to follow big brother and take his shoes off as well. The boys and I all got clean check-ups with no cavities. They picked out their new toothbrushes and got to get three prizes each from the prize box. Trevor is getting a referral to an orthodontist as a precautionary measure right now. He has an under-bite that our dentist wants to get checked out, so I guess that will be a new adventure for us soon.
