Vacation Wrap Up

Thursday after the train ride we toured the town of Cherokee a little more, shopped a little and were ready for an early night in. We headed back to the hotel, and found this:

Our housekeeper had taken especially good care of James, Trevor's monkey and Bradley's dream lite dog. It was so cute how she had them posed there.  Everyone got showered and into comfy clothes as we call them and we ordered in a pizza and relaxed and watched a movie on TV.
Friday morning we packed everything up to head home. But Wes mentioned going thru Tennessee to get there and he said the words shop and outlet malls, and I was game! Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge have changed dramatically since the last time we had been down there. There were all kinds of new places. We did quite a bit of shopping and then around 1:00 we headed on home.
It was so good to be home and see Runtley. He missed us quite a bit, as we did him, but E and Epaw took very good care of him so we weren't too worried. It was great to get home and get unpacked and settled back in. This was a very refreshing vacation and we had a really good time.
