My daddy has a huge heart. He has instilled in me a love for family that
is priceless. He is devoted to serving the Lord with all of his heart
and as the bible says "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His
righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you." in Matthew
6:33, the Lord has certainly added to my dad's life more abundantly
than he could have imagined. Our boys adore all of their grandparents,
each one special for different reasons. Paw Paw is the one who acts silly
with them and will do anything to make them laugh or to please them, he
gets so excited when he knows he is going to spend time with them, they
have his heart, for sure.
His facial expression in this picture above defines him.
He is full of heart and excitement when he is with his family.

His facial expression here is comedy relief for us often, but it makes the picture priceless.
Well, on Monday July 30, my dad had a heart attack. It was a phone call I will never forget. His faith in the Lord never ceased, we pulled together as a family stronger than ever, we prayed together, cried together, and praised the Lord together when he came out of triple bypass surgery on Wednesday, August 1. He is home now and he and my mom are adjusting to this new way of life. The support of their church family and community has meant so much to them and I am so glad that they have so many people that care about them. My daddy's heart has been repaired, and I am so grateful.
