Just another rainy day...

At the beginning of this week, our area was hit by large amounts of rain.  At times, you couldn't even see out of the windows it was raining so hard.  It caused some pretty bad flash flooding and our road was no exception.  A picture of it made the news.

So now, there is a hurricane out there, and a front of some sort that will bring lots more rain to us starting this evening into Sunday and Monday.  All kinds of predictions are comparing this to the flood of 1985, which was pretty horrific for our little area.   I'm afraid to say I have to go to walmart today and not looking forward to the flood frenzy that will surely be there. I have to prepare for all possible scenarios, and make sure we have enough food and supplies to last at least 3 months, right?
