The Young household has adjusted to school routines fairly well. Both of the
boys are having good years so far and we don't have any wicked witches for
teachers I don't think. (Been there, done that.) I am packing their
lunches every day because 1) school lunches are on such a poor level dogs
wouldn't eat some of it and 2) Trevor eats so much it would cost about $15 per
day to fill him up on that junk.
Any who, tomorrow marks a day in life that will tug at my heart. It is
promotion Sunday at church and Trevor is moving out of Jr. Church and into the
regular adult service, he is also moving into the teen Sunday school class. Wes
and I have taught him in Jr. Church since he was 4 years old. It's so sad
but at the same time I am so proud of him. He has already joined the choir and
went to choir practice last week so he could sing in it his first Sunday in
there. We will lose several kids that we have taught for the same amount
of time. We had a party for them last week. Here is a picture of them with Wes.
I would share the pic of me with them but Wes hit the video button instead of
the camera button when he was taking it and that would be a bit awkward.
