Cold, Snow, Winter Blues

We have had a snowy, cold, and windy February.  The boys have missed lots of school, Wes and I have missed some work, and everything is just out of kilter.  I don't think its been over 35 in weeks.  I like snow around Christmas and maybe one snow day occasionally, but this has been overload.  It's not pretty anymore, piled up dirty everywhere, and its just a hassle getting out and around in it.  But I said all that to say, God makes the snow, so if He sees fit then I will deal with it.

The beginning of February, the 8th to be exact, our Bradley got baptized. It was also Wes' birthday. What a birthday gift!  We are so proud of him. It was a pretty special day!

Bradley got saved in 2012, when he was 4 years old, on April 4th to be exact.  What a date to remember! He had been asking questions earlier that week about being saved and having Jesus in your heart.  That Wednesday evening, I was doing dishes and he just came downstairs and said. "Mommy, I want to pray and ask Jesus into my heart!"  So he and I went into the bedroom, I explained salvation to him and what it meant and he prayed and asked the Lord to save him!  It was an incredible experience and he was beaming afterward.  He proclaimed to everyone at church that evening that he got saved, it was sweet time for our church family that had prayed for him so diligently through his little life.

Back at the end of January, we found out Trevor needed glasses. He is very happy with them and looks like an 18 year old now.  He and I look a lot more alike now.

More to come later!
