Camping 2013

I have a lot of catching up to do on the blog. But I am just going to start now and go backwards. We left Thursday and went camping at Philpott Lake. It was very hot, but we had some fun and quality time together.

Here is the initial stages of our site as we were setting it up. Runtley is checking it out.

looking a little more like home...

Here was our view from one area. We could see the lake pretty good and there was a playground very close to our site that the boys enjoyed quite a bit.
another view. The lake is straight ahead you just can't make it out in this picture.

we had a great area on our site where the boys could ride bikes. This was the nicest spot we had ever had. We had more privacy and space than any of the other spots.

I don't think this needs words....
Runtley was tired of laying on the ground so he took over Bradley's chair!

Wes and the boys fishing. Runtley and I went on a walk while they fished and I may or may not have gotten a little lost. I was gone for over 45 minutes I believe.

Trevor spent a lot of his time right here. Playing in the fire with sticks.
a shot of the lake. It was a beautiful lake and campground. It was really really really hot. It rained on Friday for a little over an hour. That wasn't very much fun. I think we have had our fill of camping for a year or ten, ha ha.

I do not sleep well camping, Wes caught me taking a nap...
 and Runtley taking a nap....
Trevor trying to teach Bradley the art of playing in the fire.

It was so so good to get home, take a shower and sleep in our own beds.
