Sunrises and Rainbows...

I've been able to capture some beautiful nature lately...

a few mornings ago this beautiful sunrise was peaking over the mountain. To see this as your backyard can be breathtaking.

 Then today while we were just hanging out at home, a big rain storm came through, but soon after a beautiful rainbow. I couldn't get it to show up good in the picture, but it was so neatly spread over our field.

I love seeing rainbows and remembering the purpose of them, Genesis 9:11-13: 

"And I will establish my covenant with you, neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of a flood; neither shall there any more be a flood to destroy the earth.

¹² And God said, This is the token of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations:

¹³ I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth."

So thankful for His promises...
